Peggy is dedicated to helping people pursue their retirement dreams by utilizing a well-thought-out financial strategy.
Even as a self-described introvert, Peggy has always loved helping people and will go out of her way to help them figure things out. Her love of people and numbers inspired her to join the financial services industry where she focuses on helping clients create financial solutions tailored to their specific situations and needs.
“I always tell my clients to run their numbers,” says Peggy. “It’s very important to run numbers before you go apply for your Social Security. It could cost you thousands otherwise.”
Unlike some financial professionals, Peggy is not focused on selling products. Instead, she is committed to helping clients find the best solutions that will allow them to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.
Peggy is a financial professional who can offer insurance products and services. She is licensed to sell health and life insurance, including annuities.
Away from the office, Peggy loves spending time with her daughter, Sheena, son, Jase, and grandchildren, Jack and Charlie. They enjoy traveling as a family — Peggy’s goal is to travel to all parts of the world. She also spends time rescuing animals and has three rescue cats, Muffin, Nemo and Jinkx.
Jase Tetschner Director of Operations
As a former certified medical assistant, Jase has long had a passion for helping people achieve wellness. He made the decision to switch industries, joining his mother, Peggy, in financial services where he continues to pursue his passion by helping clients achieve their goals for financial wellness and independence.
As part of his role with North Star Retirement, Jase is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly in order to help clients receive the assistance and information they need to make the most informed decisions for themselves and their families.
When it comes to planning for retirement, Jase’s biggest piece of advice for clients is to “plan early.”
Outside of the office, Jase enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also loves to attend live shows in Portland and travel to new and exciting places around the world. Together, Jase and Peggy have visited a number of countries, including Italy, Greece, Malta and Mexico.
